Q1: What documents are necessary to mandate an employee as an administrator of my Payplug account?
If you want an employee (who is not the company director) to administer your Payplug account, you'll need to provide the following documents:
- The valid passport or identity card (front/back) of the company director.
- The valid passport or identity card (front/back) of the employee (Payplug account administrator).
- A mandate signed by the company director, specifically authorizing this employee to administer the Payplug account.
Q2: What are the validity conditions for identity documents?
It's essential that all submitted identity documents are currently valid. Any expired identity document will result in the rejection of your request.
Q3: Which identity documents are accepted? We accept passports and identity cards (front/back).
Please note that a driver's license is not an accepted form of identification, even in its new format.
Q4: Are there specific requirements if the director or employee is a national of the European Union or outside the European Union?
Yes:
- If the director or employee is a European Union national, only one identity document is sufficient.
- If the director or employee is a non-European Union national, two identity documents are required (for example, a residence permit and the passport from the country of origin are accepted).
Q5: Can Payplug request additional documents?
Yes, depending on the case and to comply with our Know Your Customer (KYC) identification obligations, the Payplug team may need to ask you for additional supporting documents.
Q6: What happens after I submit my request ?
Your request will be verified and processed by our compliance. A confirmation will be sent to you as soon as the change is effective.
